Eating in Tartu: Leno Morfin's Night Mexican Stand (Ruuni Pizza)

First Impressions

Leno Morfin is a Mexican artist living in Tartu. He had a restaurant in Tallinn and has now started this new project in Tartu. He has put up a stand that offers Mexican street food. You can find the stand in connection with Rüünipizza during the weekend nights. Leno himself has painted the decor of the stand. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed. Leno is very friendly and talkative. It is a pleasure to exchange thoughts and opinions with him. He enjoys having a nice conversation with his clients. Definitely one of the most warm hearted characters in the restaurant business.

The Food

The stand offers quesadillas and burritos. Leno makes the dough himself, so it is always fresh. You can choose the filling which is either vegetarian, turkey or beef. All the options were yummy! The beef was very tender and tasty. All the flavors were authentic and unique, you won't find the same anywhere in Tartu. This city has been lacking a Mexican place, so this is an answer to all food prayers out there.

Leno's Hibiscus tee - The stand offers hibiscus tee, which Leno makes himself. It was nice and sour in a good way. Definitely a unique savor and worth a try out.
